Got You In My Sight

I was having last month what you can call a Pygmalion time. Let me introduce one of my original characters. Her name is Selena Mironova, and to sum it up, she is the best at what she does. No need to say what she does isn't very nice. When I created her five years ago, I had in mind a grown-up version of Mathilda in "The Professional".

Born from a Polish mother and a Russian father, Selena grew up like a regular kid. Her life changed the day her parents were killed by outraged communist extremists. She seeked refuge to her grand-mother's house, where she was trained to the art of self-defense. After helping her foremother to die by hanging, Selena wandered, trying to find her way... until she joined the military forces, before becoming one of Russia's top-notch operatives.

She's a very tomboyish, pot-smoking and athletic woman, who speaks frankly and hates to waste time. She got her nickname "Akilina" (eagle in Russian) because she has an excellent eyesight, which makes her a very powerful sniper.
